Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector to ensure the quality of products through thorough assessment and analysis using established procedural standards.This role operates with a high degree of independence and communicates primarily with the team via Microsoft Teams, with occasional on-site visits. The ideal candidate brings hands-on operational experience, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures; actively contribute to a zero-incident safety culture
  • Perform inspections of company products to determine conformance with specifications
  • Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges, and test rigs
  • Process associated documentation including process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material documents
  • Record inspection and test data results and maintain them for retrieval
  • Ensure compliance with QMS, ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9120 requirements
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with the remote management team via Microsoft Teams; collaborate without direct on-site supervision

Required Background

  • Minimum two-year college degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Demonstrated record of good attendance, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand tolerancing limits; GD&T experience is a plus
  • Ability to interpret Material Test Reports, Inspection Data Results, and Certificates of Conformance
  • Experience using inspection tools: Calipers, Micrometers, Weight Scales, Optical CMM (Micro-Vu/Kalix), and Pi-Tape preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
  • Able to work independently, identify problems, and communicate solutions to team members
  • Ability to prioritize workload and interact effectively in a dynamic, remote-managed environment
  • Ability to learn new inspection methods, techniques, and equipment programming
  • Team player capable of working with cross-functional groups
